The integration of all generation is particularly important to us. Therefore we would like to provide you with a checklist "Safe shopping on the Internet" for checking the quality of an online shop. With this in mind, we wish you a lot of fun with your virtual shopping experience!

You want to shop online for the first time? To help you we have provided the following easy-to-use checklist that helps you to recognize trustworthy and customer-friendly providers. The list is concise and can be used for any provider. Start with a vendor that you already know from retail or mail order, or one that you have already heard is good and trustworthy.

- gives you more company information than just the imprint (name and address)
- offers several contact options: e-mail, fax or telephone,
- requires your personal data only upon final order,
- can usually refer to independent Internet checkers with certificate view.

2. How do they offer me products?

A trustworthy provider ...
- facilitates the selection of their products by means of convenient search functions, targeted information and suitable placements
- describes their products comprehensively, intelligibly and legibly,
- gives you a real and visual impression of the products through appropriate illustrations
- gives you the price of the product comprehensibly.

3. How can I pay?

A trustworthy provider …
- informs you about their payment terms as well as the order and delivery conditions before the ordering process begins,
- offers you various payment options, usually also »purchase on account« and does not only require payment in advance.

4. How does the order process work?

A trustworthy provider …
- offers a easy to use shopping cart, the content of which can be modified at any time
- only upon purches, clearly shows all necessary personal data during an ordering process
- allows you to submit your data encrypted; Encryption e.g. Recognizable by: lock symbol in the footer and changes in the address bar of the browser (https: // instead)
- in addition to the prices of the goods, clearly indicates all other costs, such as shipping costs or costs for special payment methods (eg cash on delivery)
- informs you before shipment of the order whether the goods are available or when they are available
- provides you with an overview of the submitted data before the final dispatch. This includes your personal data, content of the order and all relevant data
- clearly shows that you are now submitting your order
- confirms receipt of the order by e-mail; Alternatively: offers you the possibility to print the confirmation of receipt.

5. What are my rights and obligations?

A trustworthy provider …
- offers you easy to find general terms and conditions (GTC)
- informs you in the terms and conditions and possibly also in other places, about your rights and obligations when making an online purchas.
- clarifies in particular your right of cancellation or return.
